I fail to see how "real victims" and "honesty" has anything to do with this when the reality is Kathleen Rice and her agenda simply got caught out with her skirts UP by just one woman - out of many - admitting to lying! So she needs "help" while the so-called 5 man "victim/hero's" in this case are granted/admittedly JUST AS BAD AS HER for even engaging in such reprehensible activity in the first place! They were exonerated only after the fifth man -- Felipe's cousin Arvin Rivera, an 18-year-old senior at Harry S. Truman HS in The Bronx -- contacted prosecutors through his lawyer and said he had videotaped the sex romp with his cellphone. The video showed the sex was consensual

As a once married, Catholic father myself who recently suffered through the persecution of her Nassau County DA Office's gestapo she is, having always been alleged "lesbian" and single, about the least representative of Christian Catholic Values one can get as her and New York's "<a href="http://www.divorcesource.com/NY/ARTICLES/venzon1.html">Anti-Family Terrorism</a>" policies that have accomplished nothing but tear my family apart!

Hunt analyzed the cases of eight teenagers who had come before him - four boys and four girls - and found that probation routinely recommended tougher treatment for boys.

Do feminists approve of false rape claims? Tacitly, yes, they do. The Hofstra false rape case (described here: http://falserapesociety.blogspot.com/p/lamb-to-slaughter-hofstra-false-rape.html) is a chilling case study in the harsh and byzantine ways our purportedly enlightened society not only tolerates but tacitly encourages rape lies as the price of battling rape, without regard for the terrible harm to the men and boys falsely accused. The persons who dominate the public discourse about rape -- feminists who serve in what can aptly be called the sexual grievance industry -- by and large have no regard, or feelings, for the falsely accused. Their sole goal is to encourage women to come forward and report they've been raped. The fact that this strategy encourages more and more rape lies and that every rape lie diminishes the integrity of every actual rape victim, is not a concern to them. Men and boys falsely accused of rape are considered necessary collateral damage in this "more important" war on rape.

The feminist disdain for presumptively innocent men and boys accused of rape, including men and boys who are victims of false rape claims, goes beyond indifference and evinces a nasty streak of -- as Connie Chastain calls it -- "get-evenism." Gender payback for the perceived historical sins of patriarchy. The same sorts of attitudes that found the Anthony Weiner Greek tragedy and the "man-cession" to be victories for women. See here. To mold public policy around such hateful attitudes borders on pathology.

How does this feminist tacit approval of false rape claims manifest itself in practice? A few reiminders:

▲Prominent voices in the mainstream feminist rape movement oppose even charging women for making false rape claims. The result is that women know they can lie about rape with near impunity.

▲Prominent voices in the mainstream feminist rape movement oppose anonymity for presumptively innocent men who are merely accused of and not yet charged with rape.

▲Prominent voices in the mainstream feminist rape movement favored lowering the standard of proof to a mere preponderance of the evidence on American college campuses for presumptively innocent men charged with sex offenses, thus making it much easier to punish innocent men.

▲Prominent voices in the mainstream feminist rape movement favor flipping the burden of proof to prove consent so that sex would become a presumptive crime when a woman cries rape, and it would be the responsibility of the male to disprove it or face lengthy incarceration.

▲Prominent voices in the mainstream feminist rape movement favor changing the way consent can be manifested for purposes of proving rape. In their proposal, even acts of consensual sex would be "rape" if the woman did not manifest it by uttering a verbal affirmation.

▲Prominent voices in the mainstream feminist rape movement routinely disparage the victimization of men and boys falsely accused of rape by referring to false rape claims as a "myth."

▲Prominent voices in the mainstream feminist rape movement preach to "always believe the woman" when, in fact, many presumptively innocent men and boys are falsely accused. If the woman is automatically believed, that means the man or boy accused MUST be a rapist.

▲Prominent voices in the mainstream feminist rape movement insist that rape accusers be referred to as "victims" in criminal statutes, a manifestation of the "always believe the woman" mindset.

And I could go on and on and on. These are not the views of marginalized or extreme feminists. These are the views of prominent feminists who are immersed in sexual assault issues. Each of these views and countless others are routinely covered in this blog.

The feminist's comment evinces a fundamental misunderstanding about mainstream feminism's attitudes toward rape claims. I am certain there are women who call themselves "feminist" and who are appalled by false rape claims. Those women are not schooled in mainstream feminism and would do well not to associate themselves with that movement. Because in the rape milieu, feminism is actively opposed to the interests of innocent men.

24 hours to tell Florida State's Attorney Angela Corey not to try a 12-year-old as an adult.

Dear mk,

Cristian Fernandez is only 12 years old. And if Florida prosecutor Angela Corey has her way, he'll never leave jail again.

Cristian hasn't had an easy life. He's the same age now as his mother was when he was born. He's a survivor of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. In 2010, Cristian watched his stepfather commit suicide to avoid being charged with abusing Cristian.

Last January, Cristian was wrestling with his 2-year-old brother, David, and accidentally broke David's leg. Despite this, their mother left Cristian with his brother again in March. While the two boys were alone, Cristian allegedly pushed his brother against a bookcase, and David sustained a head injury. After their mother returned home, she waited six hours before taking David to the hospital. David eventually died.

Now Cristian is being charged with first degree murder -- as an adult. He's the youngest person in the history of his Florida county to receive this charge, and his next hearing is scheduled for tomorrow.

Melissa Higgins works with kids who get caught up in the criminal justice system in her home state of New Hampshire. When she read about Cristian's case, she was appalled -- so she started a petition on Change.org asking Florida State's Attorney Angela Corey to try Cristian as a child. Please sign Melissa's petition immediately before Cristian's hearing tomorrow.

As part of his prosecution, Cristian has been examined by two different forensic psychiatrists -- each of whom concluded that he was "emotionally underdeveloped but essentially reformable despite a tough life."

Cristian has already been through more than most of us can imagine -- and now the rest of his life is in the hands of a Florida prosecutor who wants to make sure Cristian never leaves jail.

The purpose of the juvenile justice system is to reform kids who haven't gotten a fair shake. If Cristian is sent to adult prison, it will be more than a tragedy for him -- it will also be a signal to other prosecutors that kids' lives are acceptable collateral in the quest to be seen as "tough on crime."

Cristian's next hearing is in just 24 hours. State's Attorney Angela Corey needs to know that her actions are being watched -- please sign the petition asking her not to try Cristian as an adult:
